Magic Money Tree

The Tories accused Labour of having a magic money tree for all their plans but they are the ones using it for the Queen and DUP when everyone else is suffering.

It has made me so angry that the Tories voted down a motion to remove the freeze on public sector wages. In real terms those wages have actually been a pay cut as prices of everything continues to rise.
This means our teachers, firefighters, nurses, doctors, police, local government officers and many more are doing the same job for less. Actually, in some cases they are doing more for less as there has been a huge reduction in job numbers over the last few years.
Meanwhile, the Queen, an unelected head of state, gets a pay rise which constitutes multi-millions so that she can refurbish her home. Compare that to one case study (because we have heard a lot about it) Grenfell Tower. This is a place where people were in social housing and it was re-clad with something highly flammable to save a couple of quid for each piece of cladding. As a result of the fire the fire service personnel had to put their lives at risk to save the people trapped inside and when the fire was out had to deal with the horrifying aftermath of the burnt out building filled with the dead. The nurses and doctors had to deal with the casualties and the police had to investigate the incident.
How can the same government who awarded a massive pay rise to the Queen then cut pay to those who keep the country running and keep us safe? They don't care about the 'ordinary people' (I use inverted commas because I dislike the phrase when talking about the majority of people in this country as we are all extraordinary in our own way). This government wants to bleed us all dry.
Oh, but they must have found that magic money tree because not only can they afford to give the Queen (I didn't vote for her) a pay rise, they managed to find £1.5 BILLION to make a deal with the DUP. That won't be the end to it though as the DUP will raise higher and higher ransoms as time goes on.
Be on alert for another election because it is a long time coming already!
